The sustainable Value Chain
An enterprise will be sustainable as it integrates throughout the value chain the economic, social and environmental components, namely the 3P’s Sustainability (People, Planet, Profit).
Sustainability can be dealt with as a strategy capable of freeing and capturing value in the three key dimensions:
- Growth (innovation & new products, business portfolio, new market share),
- Risk Management (regulatory-reputation-operational management, compliance),
- Returns on Capital (marketing, sustainable value chains, sustainable operations)
Our sustainability approach goes through business processes and governance. Being sustainable means to ferry the company in the medium to long term through processes with less impact on both economic and environmental as well as social fronts.
We provide consulting services on ISO 26000, an International Standard Reference Model as synthesis of the most current CSR and Sustainability standards and certifications ranging from standards such as AA1000, SA8000 and ISO9001 up to 14001 and GRI Standards. This standard model is intended to undertake a path of sustainability by re-mapping both stakeholders and core subjects of the company with the aim of identifying and addressing choices concerning CSR and sustainability. Through this framework, several technological solutions are enabled to streamline processes.
Sustainability SRQ© Positioning Model
Our Sustainability Positioning and Assessment Model is the Sustainability SRQ© Positioning Model aimed at verifying the state of the art, in both qualitative and quantitative terms, with regards to CSR and sustainability. This mapping is compliant with ISO 26000 as it is based on the same model.
The aim of this assessment is to introduce the ISO 26000 framework with a low effort in terms of time and resources while providing an important output in terms of customer sustainability positioning. This assessment is functional in supporting the decision-making process for investments and sustainability activities within business processes. The strength of this tool lies in the immediate perception of ROI by the customer.
Within a more specific CSR framework, we provide advice on Ethical Codes. The Code of Ethics represents the document enshrining the company's values. This document has a function of knowledge management and reputation. The initial process is documentary and participatory. The Code impacts on the company's decision-making process.
Finally, as regards our CSR services, we have a vertical BU for determining and preparing the Sustainability Report in compliance with the GRI4 or GBS standards.
